Lease return questions and tips?
Happy 4th everyone. Coming in OCT, my 2015 S550's lease is up and since this is the first time I am returning a lease back to the dealer (planning to pick up a new lease as well), I would like to see if any of you guys can offer me some tips on what to do and not to do, to make the lease return a smooth process?
I am planning to get new tires since the ones on it now are worn out, my question is: should I get exactly the same brand (run flat) or just some regular brand, none run flat ones are fine? Should I do a service B which is due just week before my lease is up? or no need?
Any suggestions or tips would be great! thank you in advance.

Don't get new tires or do service B ... if you're walking into another lease, the dealer will usually forgive the normal wear on the existing vehicle ... if you're nervous, schedule a lease inspection and make sure your salesman and SA know that you're getting a new lease

my BWM tires were pretty worn and i was worried about the lease return - i had one tire that was bad in particular - a friend recommended a local used tire place - kinda skanky - bought a $50 exact tire (supposedly 60% tread, i tested as less) - dealer had no issue.
punch line? the dealer then sells the tires back to this guy, puts new tires on, rinse, repeat - the guy probably has the same tire back by now!!!!!!
i'd look for exact used, borderline acceptable. just my .02

I leased an 2014 SL550 for 2 years. Returned it and they didn't even examine it while I was there. Just took the keys and said thanks for your business. Granted, there really wasn't anything wrong with it. I had done the services with an independent mechanic and they didn't even ask for documentation in that regard.
