Hey everyone. I have 2015 S Class with 40k miles. My original factory warranty ending up in November of this year. Getting a quote from my local Mercedes dealer in Chicago IL for same extended factory warranty up to 75k miles/7 years for $4300. Need some thoughts on this, not sure is this even a fair price. Please advise.
Here's a snapshot of your vehicle's VMI which lists available warranty packages. You'll see that the price you were quoted was pretty spot-on, as they range from $3100 to $5400:
If you're looking to extend the coverage on your car, I'd be happy to give you some quotes. For example, I could allow you to purchase the 7 year/75,000 mile warranty for $3499.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks for all info. So what you are offering is the same identical warranty as I would get directly from Mercedes dealership that will allow me to bring my vehicle to any Mercedes dealership for repairs? What is your position in this whole deal? Are you employed with Mercedes? Is there anyone from this forum who actually purchased extended warranty through you?
If the additional time is not enough through Mercedes, consider a reputable third party warranty. For example, I looking at some exclusionary coverage contracts that will give me additional 7 years or 75k miles for around 5k.
