Tire Report
Update on Continental Pure Contact LS tires. Couldn't find my prior thread so started a new one. Several hundred miles on them and they are definitely quieter and more comfortable riding than the Michelins that I had before. Fuel economy seems to be about the same.

Remember though, your E350 didn't have AIR MATIC air suspension and was an E class. The S is one of the smoothest riding sedans on the planet with superior suspension.

Keep in mind the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ is an Ultra High Performance All Season tire. The Continental Pure Contact LS that the OP mentioned is a Grand Touring All Season tire. A Grand Touring tire will give you a more comfortable ride and longer wear, but you sacrifice a bit of performance (grip, braking distance, etc).

I like either the Turanza Bridgestone Serenitys or the Pirelli Centurato P7's. Can't go wrong with either of these tires IMO.
