Easy DIY job. The hardest part is to get the 1st replacement filter to stay in while you place the 2nd filter in. You must be very careful for proper placement. The Filter has 2 holes in it for the plastic pins in the top of the air box to line up the filters... Good Luck!

The installation instructions state that the filters have to be installed with the arrows pointing towards the blower motor. There are no arrows on the replacement filters at all. Which side points where. There are flaps on each side and there is a soft side (light gray) and a hard side (dark gray) to each filter as far as the filter media goes. I know there are holes at the top of each filter but they fit either way and I don't want to have to do this twice. And don't say put them in the same way the old ones came out. What if the previous owner did it wrong?
Yes, lack of arrows on replacements about drove me nuts. Very difficult to figure out the arrangement and who the hell knows where the &*#^$*^# blower motor is? At least if you had arrows then you'd only need to know whether they point toward or away from each other.
This picture shows how I did mine, the tabs angled outward from the center, if that makes any sense ;-)

If you are doing this for the first time you may encounter 2 silver screws from the factory in addition to the other black screws, which are not throw away.
