Touchpad stopped working

Touchpad stopped working
The three buttons just below the touchpad still work but the touch pad itself is inop. Any suggestions. Also if I pick up a used one on fleabay will I have to program the new one or are these devices plug and play.

It could be a Software Issue, at least it was with mine when it stopped working, it was a easy fix.

On mine, the 3 buttons stopped working when it got really hot inside the car. Dealer replace the entire unit under warranty. Works perfectly now! Good luck!

Upon reading a few of the other posts on this I am just going to leave it. I never used it anyway and it was more of a nuisance when I accidentally brushed it. Kind of nice not having to worry about it and it is really redundant to the wheel anyway.
