Mercedes Benz USA - warranty. Mild Hybrid drivetrains
Hi folks,
I recognize the majority of you are in the United States, and quite often the policies that Mercedes NA sets forth starts with the US and then trickles down to Canada. I think we all know that mild hybrid hybridization will be coming to the W222. My understanding is that it's already here with the I6 engine with the W222 in Europe, and that it's coming in some 2019 models with MB USA. What I am dying to know is how Mercedes is handling warranty coverage. Will MB only stand by the 4 year new car warranty for those specific components, or will they, perhaps, stand by a 8 year warranty like for their hybrid cars?
I don't think there's anyone who lives in the EU here who can comment, but wondering if anyone who is a customer of MB USA here knows.
