HELLO guys..
I have this vehicle in my shop with a code B1F4500 ( Starter battery cable excessive resistance) There is also a display msg STOP VEHICLE LEAVE ENGINE RUNNING
Can someone point me in the right direction on how to diagnose or what to look at?
How the system have the cable measured for resistance?
Vehicle had a small front end (RIGHT SIDE) accident. 12v Main batt is brand new. (original)
Anything related with secondary batt?
I would start with a thorough physical inspection of the front right side of the car for any damage to cables or wires, I believe there is a direct connect on that side to battery for jump start situations. I would also throw a meter on the disconnected 12V line from the starter battery and check for leakage to ground. Lastly I would try another battery.
