Is Wheel & Tire coverage with getting ???
I recently purchased a 2015 S 550. It has 20 inch AMG wheels on it, the wheels are $1800 each to replace and the tires are about $350. The coverage is zero deductible for five years purchased through Mercedes-Benz dealer In the premium is $1880.
I would be interesting in hearing feedback from anyone that has purchased this insurance and filed claims. Are they good about replacing the wheels? Is there a limit to the number of wheels replaced within the five year period? Generally I am against these types of additional coverage, however these are 20 inch wheels with low side wall profile and I am concerned with potholes right live in Ohio.

MY17 S63AMG - MBUSA Buyback. MY16 SL63 - Sold MY19 W213 E63s. 2020 W213 E63s Wagon
I have an 2017 S63 that I purchased with the wheel and tire protection warranty. About 2 months ago, I was driving on the freeway and 3 out of 4 tires got popped and 2 wheels were damaged ( not fixable ) and the 3rd wheels had minor scratches ( that MBusa refinished ). Each wheel was MSRP at $3,800 and tires was $400 each so it was worth it for me to have it because it already paid for itself ( I believe I bought the warranty for $2,800 ). There is no limit to how many claims per year.
If if you live in a state like California where the roads are bad, having it puts a peace of mind and the claim was easy as your dealer will be the one who files the claim.
Here is the coverage:
