MB Sales and Others
Don't know if this is a repost, but I, and I'm sure some others may not have seen these...MB on top over BMW and Audi , but overall sales down 5.3%

Thanks for the link, was an interesting read. I was a bit surprised by the numbers for Genesis (Genesis was off 50 percent, to 10,312). That appears to be related to an accelerated separation from Hyundai apparently. In any case SUV's continue to dominate, RIP coupes.

I had recently read Genisis' quality was reported as rather low...very surprising.
I luv coupes especially true pillarless one's like the S, dont like the E's with the extra fixed side glass as it takes away fron the pillarless design. I may get another S coupe before they're gone but the new SL at least from the preliminary renderings looks very nice...wish they would have kept the folding hard top though.

The S-Class still dominates the segment:

The S-Class Saloon continued to enjoy great popularity in 2018: Approximately one-and-a-half years after the model upgrade, 77,927 units of the S-Class Saloon were sold in 2018 (+12.2%). The S-Class Saloon also achieved sales growth of 7% in Europe. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Saloon is very successful and stands for the utmost exclusivity and quality: In 2018, more Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Saloons were sold than in any previous year (+21.8%). More than two-thirds of these vehicles went to customers in China.

Agreed on that damn fixed corner window. As mentioned in the S coupe forum I look forward to a future S coupe. That said, my '18 E coupe is my first car with no B pillar and the looks I get in warmer weather with windows down...
You bet.

Those little windows were put there because many of the older people that drove the previous versions w/o them it complained there was a blind spot/the c pillar was too thick Ways around it is a black car with only those little windows blacked out with tint, or getting the cab.
