First Road Trip was Awesome!
Greetings all. I took my first road trip today in the S550 and she performed flawless like I was riding on rails from Philadelphia to JFK International Airport in New York and back home. My sister who is retired was my passenger to catch a flight going to Dubai for 8 days. I did use the Distronic Plus Adaptive Cruise and it worked great but it took some a few tries to get the speed and distance set right! It's an awesome feature which makes it nice to not have to keep hitting your brakes when someone in front of you is slowing down. Gas mileage was very decent as well.

Sounds like you had a great trip! The S-class is a superb highway cruiser and Distronic works fairly well. I wish it could detect your hands on the wheel without having to actually move it. Not sure if later versions do that.
