It is true unfortunately, I didn't want to believe it either but it is happening, MB is now aping Tesla with that stupid, giant TV in the middle.

I'm not a betting man, but I suspect it will.
You know, I had a seniors moment today. I saw that stupid GLE doing that stupid "dance" with the new air suspension on some MB ad today, and it got me thinking. MB has really started to go after the young/hip crowd, and lots have changed recently. Take appearance aside, the interior of so many MB cabins now look cheap, and the brand is being whored out with things like the A/CLA etc.
I miss the old Mercedes Benz. I really do.
The W222 post refresh was also disappointing which is why I left MB and bought another flagship instead. Cheap parts/cheapening of parts is really getting to my nerves.
MB used to stood for being overengineered and being the best that a car could be. I do not like where MB is heading.
MB has been very good to me, and I have had my eyes on the W223 due to a number of factors, but this screen thing pretty much upsets me. It's a step in the wrong direction.

Oh no not this, the sky is falling again. Mercedes' haven't been over engineered since the W140 S-Class. No car is built like that anymore this side of a Rolls or Bentley. Why are so many people here judging this car based on rough prototype/test mule?
The new GLE's suspension is not going after any young/hip hop crowd, that's absurd. It actually serves a function, to free the car in off roading situation. Hip Hop artists have been using Benzes for many years now and if Mercedes was going to actively chase this crowd they would have done so years ago.
How is the brand now being whored out NOW when the A-Class has been around since 1997? The 190E caused the same reaction, oh my god that's not a Benz, back in 1983.
The S-Class is still the best car it can be and arguably still the best there is this side of a Rolls or Bentley so I don't get where the doom and gloom is coming from.
