New TN Member and First Question

Second time Mercedes owner here. First was a 1974 450SL about a decade ago that I owned for about 10 years.

This time, the opportunity fell into my lap from an older friend/client to buy a 2015 S550 with only 6,200 miles. His doctor had told him some time ago not to drive anymore and he finally decided to sell the car. He wanted his wife to take it, but she is more comfortable in her A8.

The car is Palladium Silver w/Silk Beige/Espresso Brown Nappa Leather. Major options include Premium 1 Package, Sport Package, Warmth & Comfort Package, Surround View Camera, and Driver Assistance Package. It has been serviced annually at the local dealer, the last time in November when the car had 6,000 miles.

I am still learning about the features/technology but really enjoying the car so far. A lot of good info on this forum.

First question, and thanks in advance…I am not much of a DIYer, but given the number of vehicles we have resulting in spreading the mileage around and thus annual servicing, I do check fluids on a regular basis. This is rather embarrassing, but I have been unable to locate the Power Steering reservoir. Can someone direct me to its location?

Thanks for the responses. I don't feel as dumb not being able to find the reservoir.

There is fluid in the battery where the electrons are stored (with the engine off.)

But don't try to change the battery fluid yearly.
