Burmester 3D (or standard) Sound Deadening
Love the Burmester 3D. However, when I have the Bass cranked up, it can rattle at times. Anyone ever explore sound deadening or identify the source of where the most rattling occurs? Perhaps the comfort box I recently installed is the culprit?

Yeah that factory Burmester sub does an amazing job, I just love this car. I have it cranked to max and I shut the doors and trunk and its not loud outside at all, the rattle is basically gone too. I may explore further insulation in the future though.
You must really like the bass. I also have the upgraded 3D Burmester, but I don't notice any bad rattles other than the spare change sitting in my cup holder. There was a time in my young years when I built my own subwoofer into a spare tire well in my Subaru and I applied Dynamat to almost all the panels which killed the rattles but added a 100 pounds to my car's weight. My underpowered Subaru felt the weight

Yes, I love me some deep tones. Not always, but when I want to really enjoy a nice track its just a couple clicks then boom...
