Car has not been driven that much lately. I started it up, and hit the raise the suspension, the Shocks/Struts maid a horrible noise as if they were stuck and then became unstuck, similar to a parking break not being released for a long time.... I raised and lowered a few times, it went away after the 3rd raise and lower. So I went out for a spin and when I hit a Swoop in the road, the Struts/Shocks are making that same noise. So when the car leaves the leaves the swoop and the suspension is at extended travel, I can recreate the noise. I am out of Factory warrantee, but dread hearing (other than the noise) NOT COVERED UNDER MY MB EXTENDED WARANTEE.
Anyone else ever experience this? On another note, Local driving I would always drive with the suspension in the raised mode, after reading some forum posts, I no longer do this. The ride is absolutely better in the standard height. Note if it means anything, the times that I did have the car in the raised position, 10 to 15 minutes after the car being parked is when the suspension would go back to normal on its own.
Thanks for any input in advance
