I am looking at a certified mb s550. Clean carfax. Local mb dealer. Car has what looks like dirt nibs or sand on strut towers under the hood. Everything looks original as well as fender bolts look untouched. Has anyone seen this before or has any insight. Seems strange that mb techs would not have noticed it at the factory
That's how they all are. You should not be able to see that unless you pull off the plastic covers for the motor. It is a cast aluminum part and they figure no one will be looking at that regardless.
