At 16500 mi on my 2018 S63 finally got new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's. Amazing.
My tires have looked bald for the last few thousand miles and when I turned the wheel when it was cold, and other times, it had loud crunching sounds. Finally got new tires recommend by you guys on the forum. (By the way, why is it all guys here? No gals! Weird, but predictable I guess.)
SO HAPPY with these new tires. Took some fast and dirty shots at dusk tonight at my gym's parking lot on my iPhone.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S with 2 year road hazard warranty.
$1370 delivered plus $100 Michelin rebate mail in.
$441 to put them on the car at my MB dealer in Bethesda MD (that seems like a lot).
It says on the receipt "$220 Mount and Balance Four Run Flat Tires" but these aren't run flat tires, right?
$27 wheel weights/tire disposal
I'm finally getting used to the black 10 spoke AMG wheels, too 18 months later. I've given up on getting the wheels I wanted (split 5 spoke) and like the fiendish, odd look now of mine. I'm sure there's probably not another like it in the US so at least it's unique, if not a bit... ugly.
$169 Basic Alignment (Caster bolts extra) $169 labor plus $23.10 Hazardous Waster for repair order = $441

Can't understand why these are not the OEM tire of the car these days... they are probably the best street tires available.
