I am interested in the rear entertainment, For your info my car model is W213 Class E350 AMG
I have a few questions...
- How do you open the cover at the back of the front seat for the plug-in LCD screen? I know it is the power source for the LCD screen.
- From what i know from your info, it is just a push, the back portion of the LCD screen into the socket and the cover will open inside, right?
But no matter how i press the cover, it wouldn't open!! I want to know how to open before i buy.
The door is shut closed (locked) by a magnet. If you have a small magnet (any magnet), you can use it to open that small door.
I guess the Plug&Play screen being promoted here has that built-in magnet to automatically open the door when you bring it close to it to install in.
I'm also interested in this Plug&Play screen for my 2018 GLC 300, but the InCarPassion website doesn't list price and no way to purchase. My 2 inquiries remained unanswered. So, if it's hard to get answer on sales inquiry, how much more on product/customer support? This should tell me to stay away from this company. It is however available in ebay and AliExpress (all from China), not sure though if it's the same company.

Has anybody received their product? are they still selling it?
Ebay is your best bet, same product. And you’re covered if u get a defective item. I had a defective screen sent to me and they want me to pay for shipping it back for replacement. There warranty sucks.
I bought a set (2 monitors) from incarpassion. Barely used in 1.5 yrs, still has the original screen plastic protector. My GLC was totaled early 2023. Now I got a CLS450 w/ same rear entertainment code, and these works. But my almost teenage daughter lost interest, specially now that she has her own iphone. So, I’m selling this, if anyone is interested.

Did I miss it? How do these things connect to a content source(s) inside the car? The factory rear seat entertainment includes a DVD player ... power and ground to the screen doesn't sound sufficient?
Also, do you need factory remotes and headphones to operate these? And do these require coding to work with the screens?
My car lists "rear entertainment pre-install" which makes me think wiring is present inside the seat - perhaps already connected where needed for data - other than the DVD player of course
