Dark colors cleanliness
Has anyone found that an air conditioned enclosed garage helps to keep dark colors cleaner, for longer periods of time?

No , not really. If I am storing any of my cars for over two weeks in my enclosed garages they are washed and covered with sheets. Otherwise they will be covered with a fine layer of dust even with a very well sealed garage. Dust is everywhere!

My original post should have been more specific.
Does any one on the forum have an air conditioned garage? And, is there a difference in staying clean?

Yes, parking in a garage is going to keep cars of all colors cleaner longer than say being outside.
The nicer and cleaner your garage is the cleaner you cars will be parked there. My old garage was climate controlled, fully painted, and my cars stayed cleaner than my current unfinished garage.
Now I can see some debate as to whether there will be more dust running climate control vs having it off.
Although I enjoy the space of my current garage I miss the amenities of old one, if you have climate control enjoy your garage while I wait for the cooler weather of fall to do some paint correction.

my 2 Cents.... Possibly it is cleaner since the air going into the Garage is Filtered.... It is NOT SAFE to have any duct work shared with the home be connected to a garage CO and DEATH. If you have a standalone system, you would have a supply and a return for it to function. The air will be cleaner since it has to travel through a filter. The better the filter, the cleaner the air. If the Garage is fully finished, Insulated, Painted and no Air infiltration, the environment will be cleaner.

I used to park in a NYC garage in the basement of the building I lived in that was heated and AC as part of the overall building HVAC and it did seem to keep the car a lot cleaner. It was a self managed garage with only 14 spaces, so no attendants so very little traffic. I only drove the car a few times a month, and there was noticeably less dust on it than I remembered in other garages I parked in - car was non-metallic black so any dust would have been very noticeable That garage was essentially room temperature all year - and aside from the $600 a month charge, it was damn near perfect.

Ceramic coat your car. Then it's an easy matter to wipe the dust off with a microfiber towel slightly dampened with a detailing spray. Everything glides off.

Roof line on your house looks futuristic! Do builders super insulate in your area? Here in the Houston, Texas area with high heat and really high humidity the AC unit in your picture would be way too small...
