DIY - Replace Air Filter Element on W222 - S350d
I've started prepping to do my owner servicing on my 2017 S350d W222.
Instructions in the attached PDF file look straight forward, however at the end it mentions that a reset adaptation data (air filter contamination level reset) is required via the xentry diagnostic system.
As I don’t have access to this can I:
a) Skip this step completely without the risk of causing issues in the future.
or
b) Use the iCarsoft MB V2.0 Mercedes Diagnostic reader (link below) to do this reset. I plan on buying this soon.

Hi Niall
I have been thinking about this too. Was going to buy the Icarsoft in any case . Did you change yours in the end ? Any complications ? Thanks.Watching the video above parameters haven’t been reset, I’m thinking the car would automatically readjust after a drive but just thought I would check, Thanks.
