Regards,
Already sold? No price, so no feedback possible. These are wonderful cars that drive beautifully and are well appointed by default. Not a lot of extra options from the looks of it. These will cost a fraction of their prior MSRP (assume around 40% of original) which is a lot of bang for the buck but the car will continue to heavily depreciate over the coming years.
That is not necessarily bad and doesn't reflect poorly on the car but is a result of very few people willing to take a chance on a car that can cost as much to repair as they have paid for it.

Darn, it looks like someone put the car on 'hold'. Its price was 79K...

Nice price. These are low risk cars as the tech is mature and the cars are solid. If you find another one, consider adding an extended warranty (if you can)

Thanks for your advice! I'll keep my eye out, I'm also considering trading in my S550 for the 4D Sedan S65 AMG if I can find a good example... I'm also deciding if the face-lift updates are worth it..

I think the S63 coupe is the more practical option, and the S550 or S560 Coupe even more practical when you think about the long term maintenance costs and the ease of finding discounted OEM parts for repair. The V8 engines are well tested and reliable. The biggest recurring cost on an AMG of that size is usually the price of replacing brake rotors. I think the modern S class coupe is the best car Mercedes has ever made.

That is a fantastic looking coupe! I know it's on hold, but I'd go for a coupe over the sedan, it's that much less common. I don't care about the AMG engine, but the AMG front accents look great on that car.

The S550 or 560 are rather pedestrian compared to the AMG models. The difference between the 63 and 65 models is what driving experience is desired. The S63 have a more aggressive demeanor which may not be desired. As for the engines, neither the V8 or V12 pose a risk; there are all reliable and the V12 (while a technical dinosaur) is a great engine which continues to live on in the Maybach and the latest iteration is much more maintenance friendly. The 63 is AWD while the 65 is RWD with MBC; which might make a difference to a buyer.
That said, I actually like the front end chrome on the 65's. I think they are the best looking of the S-Class coupes...

Good advice, Carmax will offer warranty coverage on every vehicle it sells, it's part of the company 'guarantee.' Also the reason that apart from the occasional S65, Turbo S, Range Rover Autobiography Black and the like, you won't see any true exotic offerings in their inventory.
