Good diagnostic tool for W222

Looking for a good diagnostic tool for my cars. Would love something that works on several models, but want it to work with my S550 as well. Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Search for DAS and Xentry on this site. Also search for WIS, ASRA and EPC.

The former are the items you need to connect to the vehicle. The latter are the reference documentation for service procedures and the parts catalog. There is a well regarded seller on this site for DAS/Xentry and eBay has a seller for the documentation.

DAS/Xentry is more like at least $400-$1000 depending on where you get it, the ones from China like Aliexpress have the cheaper ones. The WIS/EPC you can get on eBay for about $6.60 for the DVDs/downloads.

There's lots of other basic scanners out there like this Autel that's much cheaper. Additional car lines are an extra $10, but should work on all MB models.
