What OBD-II reader do you recommend?
I’ve been meaning to get one and recently have decided to pull the trigger. Ideally it would be paired with an app and has live readings and is not crazy expensive. If you have one that you swear by that doesn’t meet one of those please tell me too. Thanks!

While a full Xentry system is ideal, it's probably overkill for most people. I just prefer a basic code reader that just tells you what the problem is in a specific subsystem. Xentry can do a lot more, but I think most people don't need the advanced features like being able to have your car lowered.
I like Launch too, but their icarscan software is now up to almost $300 and the software expires after a year so it's not so good these days. It was a lot cheaper several years ago, but has been steadily climbing in price every few months.

Hey Folks, I have a hardly used iCarsoft For LandRover/Jaguar Auto Diagnostic Tool which i would trade of a good used Mercedes diagnostic tool if anyone's interested. i only used it 4 times and then sold my 2006 XJ VDP hobby car.
