Hello,

I've started to apply a paint sealant (to be specific Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine) and I realized it's not a bad idea at least doesn't hurt. The shine is absolutely much better and it keeps the car clean against rain and dust for much longer time between washes. I know many of you like other expensive approaches like ceramic but here am just talking about paint sealer as a quick solution after washes.

What do you all think? I know there is no need to apply after each wash, but I normally spray a little on a microfiber and gently wipe the entire car as am drying it (like really few sprays only for the entire car).

Do you apply after each wash?
Do you believe it prevents minor scratches? I think it could at least from soft/small tiny dust particles on normal roads because paint becomes really slick
Does it seal the paint against normal weather/rain/etc conditions? I also think the answer is yes.
Do you apply it on rims? I know this is a weird question, but actually I do and i noticed it makes it soooooo easy to clean brake dust during next wash as the dust doesn't stuck into small pores of rims and washed out immediately.
