Forgive my ineptness in asking but, is there a site discussing the 223? If so, how do I access it. Thanks.

Probably doesn't exist yet but will soon when the car is confirmed and released. Do we have a definite design yet?

I requested a new forum section be created here, https://mbworld.org/forums/suggestio...***-forum.html

The mod wanted to see more interest/activity before creating, but he did remove the "New" from the 222 forum...

I like the rendering better than my current S560. It will probably be a very nice car, but the jury is still out on how obtrusive or acceptable that big touch screen will be. When is this car going to actually be shown to the public?

This spring, most likely 7 years to the day the W222 was introduced. If they don't reveal it at Geneva in March it will be a separate event in May.

Interesting and real looking rendering. I'm conflicted on that pouty/pinched rear end though.

HOPEFULLY, the other models will not share this design.

The question I have is will they update the chassis this time? The W222 is still running on the W221 chassis.

The w223 S Class will use the MRA (modular rear architecture) whereas as the new EQS will be the first Mercedes to use the new MEA platform. I believe the current E class uses the MRA platform.

Looks to me like the real functionality and usability goes out the window, instead the engineers/designers are hell bent on removing any and all physical/analog controls and switches just so they can "proudly announce" their car doesn't have them anymore.
Regardless whether the customers are asking for them or not and with a false conviction that the "high tech" changes are always an improvement (not always, IMO).

The reason they are doing it is because it saves money.
