2018 S560 Oil Change Part Numbers

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know all the parts I would need to perform a DIY oil change on a 2018 S560? I've gathered the following part numbers but am not sure if I am missing anything else. The drain plug/screw is also a toss up...as different dealerships have provided me different part numbers for that one.

Oil Filter 1761800800
Drain Plug/Screw 000000008789 OR 0009909518 (Which one is it?)
Oil Drain Gasket 007603014106
Engine Oil 000989790211 (~9 Quarts)

Thats the Oil Filter, but why even mess with the drain plug, it's a lot easier just to use a fluid evacuator and suck out the old oil through the dipstick hole. That way you're saving a lot of time and not messing with the drain plugs which there may be a upcoming recall on anyhow and you don't want the dealer to say you did something wrong or anything.

Ditto on the upcoming recall regarding the oil drain plugs. Unfortunately for me, 2018 S-Classes and up no longer have oil dipsticks and needs to be drained using the oil drain plug underneath the vehicle

That's right too, my bad, I forgot. I had a 2018 E63 AMG and same thing no dip stick and reading of oil level on the Display in the car. Be careful not to overfill it if you look at the display, my finding with my 2018 AMG was those things can be kinda fluky. Just put in the 9 quarts of Oil and be done with it. My 2017 E550 is the easiest car ever to service. Filter is up top and easy and just suck the oil out of the dipstick hole. Same with my 2019 E450 Wagon. Glad they retained the dipstick on the 3.0 V6 motor. It's hard to tell exactly what that recall is gonna be, I had heard it is some kind of internal plug and not simply the drain plug. It probably is pretty rare anything happens with it, it sure is taking a lot of time to get the recall out there. If it was something that affected a great number of cars I'm sure Benz would be moving on it quicker. Good luck with the oil change. Looks like you have the right part numbers.

List looks complete, EPC shows drain plug 000000008789 if you want confirmation post or PM VIN.
