Is there a way to stop headrest going up?

I find it really annoying that whenever I move the front seats on my 2016 s63, the headrest always goes up and I have to each time hold the button to bring it down. Is there a way to turn this annoying "feature" off?

Perhaps it has to do with your Memory setting?

I don't think so. I can't figure it out. If i move the seat forward or back at all, the headrest moves up simultaneously. Once I get the seat where I want it, I have to hold the button down. Same with passenger side.

After you get the seat and headrest where you want it, put that setting in the memory.
Then choose the seat position from memory.

Sure, that works but that’s not my issue. Sometimes i carry something behind the seat (ie an empty propane tank recently) and i need a little more room. Just annoying that after i move the seat forward, i have to lower the headrest. Wish the header would just stay put. First world problem i suppose.

Ya, I've always found that annoying too, they all seem to do it for some reason.
