2020 S560 nav system question

If you download the contact file with names, phone numbers and addresses from your Android phone into the COMAND system, does your navigation system find the address for the person you selected? The nav systems on 2019 MBs responded with "NOT FOUND". The system could not 'read' the address in the downloaded file. Maybe a problem only with Android and not i-Phone.

Any info you can provide would be appreciated.

NTG 5.5, which is the latest COMAND system certainly does with my iPhone. I can just say "Navigate to <contact name>" and it finds the address and starts the navigation. Same if I manually select one. I know this has been an issue with Android in the past at least, or specifically if you use Google contacts, because Google contacts doesn't separate the address into street, city, state and zip and then when it gets synced to the car, the entire address is stuffed into the street field and city, state, zip are empty. I had this problem even with the iPhone way back when I used Google contacts. The entire address would be in the street field on my phone, causing all kinds of issues. Most contact sources these days split the address into the individual parts, so there are no issues when syncing. All my contacts these days reside in a couple of Exchange servers and they sync properly across all my devices and my cars.

Thank you very much for reply. The contact file in my Android phone is all manually input: Name, phone, e-mail, street, city, zip, etc, in individual (input) fields. Nothing has been downloaded from Google.

The funny thing is that I loaded the same Android file into my 2020 BMW and it works perfectly when I want to call or navigate to the address. Reason for my question is that I'm thinking about a 2020 S560C4.

It indeed should work with Android too (I have my contacts also in Exchange server, synced with Android phone and when entering the car, synced with COMAND/NTG 5*5.

Workaround would be to use Android Auto and there you would be able to navigate to contacts also.
