Service A9
Mercedes-Benz Service A
Mercedes-Benz Service A is a required maintenance package that needs to be taken care of around once every year or 10,000 miles, though these estimates may vary depending on your specific model, your personal driving habits, and the climate you live in. Included with Service A are the following:- Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement
- Oil Filter Replacement
- Tire Inflation Check & Correction
- Brake Component Inspection
- Maintenance Counter Reset
While the oil is draining out, the Tech walks around and looks at the brakes and tires and for any other service they can sell you.
But if you drive a lot a year, you could have service A9 due in year 5 for example.
It goes: A1, B1, A2, B2, A3, B3, etc, so essentially it’s the 9th Service A due. That car must’ve had a lot of services done (or reset).

My W204 recently showed that service BH was due which I had no idea what it meant. go into ASSYST PLUS and scroll thru until it lists the service 1-20. I have read this list is the same for all Mercedes models. I dont know how to get into your specific menu but ill post how I got in mine. The services listed for mine 2,3, 11, 13 made perfect sense and lined up with the services listed in the Maintenance Manual since my car just turned 150,000 miles and was due for a new fuel filter and replace the coolant.
