Thanks to everybody who gave me advice. I was leaning towards ordering a BMW 750 because I couldn't swing a decent deal on an S560 and I could get exactly what I want, but on a whim yesterday I reached out to a dealer about a car I had driven in August to see what kind of deal he could do. It wasn't great, so I told him I was going to proceed with ordering the 750. He asked if he could match the deal I was getting on the 750 would I consider it, I told him I would have to come and see and drive the car again, so yesterday afternoon I did.
Went over there, drove it and decided that it was the right car, took it home to show my wife and kids, and got their seal of approval. Did a little more wrangling and wound up getting the S for the same payment as the 7 would be and they gave me $4K more for my LS than BMW was going to, so it was a done deal.
I love it! The white wasn't my first choice but its growing on me. Only disappointment is the Burmester audio. I will ask the stereo shop what they can do when they install my dashcam.

Looks great! I wasn’t keen on white either. I wanted something different, green, ruby or diamond silver but at this late point in the year, only colors left were white, black grey or silver.

Wow, looks exactly like my new car on the outside, same wheels too. Beautiful. What tires are on the car? I've got the Conti Run Flats. Thats the exact deal I was trying to work with Ft. Myers Mercedes and it flopped. Then the used loaded 2018 came along from Crown Pinnellas park for a lot less and I couldn't resist. Just got the extended warrantee today from Santa Rosa CA so I'm good for another 4 more years, same as the factory warrantee, well pretty close, CPO. Good luck with the car, I think you made the right choice. You got a great price.
You could always put a sub in the trunk with the amp in the Trunk. If you put the sound focus on the Front the stock units seem to sound better and I use to keep my treble cranked up pretty good on my 2017 S560. With the 3D I have everything pretty flat, in fact mid set to minus 2. If I start moving up highs above flat it sounds too bright. Overall very happy with the 3D system, main thing lacking in the stock system is bass and that can be had with a decent amp like a jl audio and a small box with a decent sub tucked off in the corner of the trunk. I was recently reading a thread about that. Try the Energizing comfort mode when you get a chance, I kinda like that feature. 2018 was the first year for that.

Yep, it was your car that inspired me to reach back out to them about this car! I was dubious about the white but it has really grown on me. Nobody else would come anywhere close to this deal. This deal was better than one I was quoted on a car with the same MSRP that was a demo with 4k miles on it. Was meant to be.
I have the Conti run-flats on it. I just ordered a set of Michelin Primacy Tour A/S non runflat tires for it, I'll let you know the difference. Of all the tires available these have the poorest ride IMO, I have test driven the same spec cars on the Pirelli and the Michelin Run Flats. I'm sure my new tires will make this car ride even better.
Yes it should make a difference. I guess I'm just gonna leave my Conti SSR tires on as they are brand new and I'm tired of changing things around. My 2017 did ride better on the highway with the non run flats. Around town that super duper magic body control I have on my car seems to soak up the bumps pretty well. I actually did like the Lunar Blue of my last car a little better than the Diamond White, but with all the options this new to me car has it was a no brainer getting the car.

Yeah thats my plan. I have to have my dashcam installed, the audio shop that I had do that to the Lexus is pretty well regarded I'm going to talk to them about it. The system sounds fine when you're just listening at normal volume, like when my wife and kids are with me, but when you crank it up it really falls apart. Theres distortion on vocals at the high end and it lacks oomph. I had been accustomed to being able to crank up the Mark Levinson in the Lexus and it was incredible, so its a considerable adjustment.

I think I would have liked the 750, but I always would have wanted the S Class, and when the lease was up on the 750 THIS S Class would be gone. So I think its best to experience this for now.

Strange how the sound systems seem to vary so much. The system in my 2012 E63 amg with the harmon kardon was just ok and then when I got my 2018 E63 amg that system was horrible, something really wrong, complained numerous times to dealer. Then in my 2019 E450 Wagon it is great, not as good as the new to me 2018 with the 3d audio but right up there, was listening to that today with the new Tidal app I just loaded. The 2017 S550 I just traded in was just alright, kinda murky bass.
