Sorry to dig up an old thread. Did you ever figure out how to access the 2 rear pan bolts in a way to put on the proper torque? Same situation here, and the alternative seems to be supporting the transmission to remove the rear support plate and mount.

Mercedes S 500 4MATIC W222 (2015)

I drilled two holes for the rear bolts so I could access them with a torque wrench. It was quite simple, the material was not particularly hard.
Just do it carefully so you don't damage the oil pan.

Genius solution. I will look at mine again with that in mind. That plate is different on my non-4matic because the rolled edge of the plate is directly under the transmission bolts. Also mine has 3 inner bolts for the transmission mount instead of 4. I can reach the transmission pan bolts with the e-torx wrench, but not with a socket and torque wrench to get the proper 4 NM when the plate is blocking.
