Illuminated Door Sill size

So I got up early this morning to install my illuminated door sills in my 2017 S550 and realized the 2 rear sills that they sent in the package of 4, are 5 1/5 " longer than the stock sill which is only 11 inches long. I now realized these may be for the w222 Long Wheel Base. When ordering I didn't recall seeing the option for a long or short wheelbase option. I ran into the same thing when I ordered Weatherteck mats for the car, the fronts fit, but the rears didn't because they were too long, then the dealer says they don't make them in a short wheelbase version..HUH?
Even now looking on Ebay, I don't see SWB sills. What am I missing here?.

All W222's delivered in the US are LWB. If you were on the the US based website with the .com extension it likely only lists parts for US cars. No idea why ebay did not show any SWB parts since you accessed it with a Canadian IP address.

Really? All W222's in the US are LWB? I had no idea. Here in Canada we have the choice of Long or Short. Thanks for the info. Well im not going to install just the two front sills, and no sense sending them back to the seller.....I'll just resell them in Ebay and recoup my money.

Yep, all W222s in the US are LWB. Same with the W221.
