3 possible different pans and 2 possible different fluids. Good video.
There is another method to determine fluid as well, look at the transmission pan from underneath, if it has circles only means red fluid, if it has oval shapes then blue fluid

My Porsche transmission is also serviced entirely from beneath. When it could have easily had an openable cover in the spare tire well to fill from above.
Wonder what made the Germans determined to do it this way? The Honda is so simple, just pull out the dipstick and pour in new fluid ...

Only BMw and Mercedes have to be a bit more involved. I did my wifes 2016 VW jetta sport 1.8...was a walk in the park easy! Originally Posted by Tom in Austin
