KEY fob
Just bought a 2018 s560 with two key fobs. Both work via pressing the buttons, but only one will open the door via touching the door handle. I replaced the battery but still not working like the other remote.

I took the FOB into the car and the car it didn’t recognize it when I tried to start it. It then told me to put the key into the center console slot. The car recognized it quickly and was able to start the car. Shut off the car and from the outside closed the door and touched the handle. It now works.
Prior to this, when the FOB didn’t work with the Keyless Go on the handle I just switch FOBs and never tried to further use the deactivated FOB

Double press the lock button on the key fob. This is used to enable and disable the key from sending the rf signal.
I always disable the rf transmission in my spare key I'm not using as it will drain the battery eventually. So I only enable it on the key I use.

On a related note... Is there a way to match the key fob to a user? For example, when driver 1 button is selected in the car the seat, steering wheel etc adjust for driver 1, driver 2 button selected...adjusts for driver 2. Can this function be paired with the key fobs? If car is unlocked with key fob 1, seats, etc adjust for driver 1, unlock with key fob 2, presets adjust for driver 2. I don't see this anywhere.
