I have a 2019 S560. Since upgrading my iPhone from 6S to 12, I have been unable to receive texts by Bluetooth. I turned off Do Not Disturb. System says device does not allow downloading texts. Any fix for this? Do I need a system software update for the car?
Under the Bluetooth connection for your car, "Show Notifications" needs to be turned on. It's off by default on a new Bluetooth pairing. Also make sure it correctly recognized the device type as a Car Stereo, otherwise change it manually.
