Windshield tinting should I?
I have an silk beige and espresso brown interior on my car. I've tinted the windows and rear windshield with 20 percent it's tinted and not too dark. I'm interested in getting the front windshield tinted with 70 percent ceramic film to help with sunlight. Has anyone done this before also would it interfere with any of the sensors on the windshield?

Wont interfere with any of the sensors, they're not within the area that would be tinted.
I have always considered doing this but have always held back for some reason...

Do it, you will notice the difference on how the sun feels. And at 70% the tint police should leave you alone. I've been doing 50 to 70 percent on my windshields for years with no problem in the DC area.

To each his own, but i cant imagine tinting my S-class windows....even if I see just ONE solitary bubble on a nice cars tint, the whole car is ruined and looks cheapened to me.
I can hardly see into either of my S's with the factory glass. Also, I really dont have HOT interior issues in south Texas - mid summer with the OEM glass and windshield treatment
but I try not to be negative, so again to each his own.... go for it !!!

I'm not going outrageous, I like a clean look with just a couple of enhancements. I'll go with 70, don't feel like being bothered with trying to remove 50% if I get pulled over for it.

I am in Florida and all our windshields need to be tinted. It makes a huge difference when summer comes. You will be happy with 70 and it will be a noticeable difference and it wont attract any attention from the Police. Anyone I ever spoke to who received a windsheild tint ticket was always too dark. I have been doen here 20 years and have even been stopped and the tint was never an issue. Good luck

The HUD will show just fine. I recommend going with Ceramic. You can get clear Ceramic on your windshield and achieve your goals: something: Iike Solar Guard Ultra Premium (75) clear ceramic tint, for an example.
My only cautions are chips and cracks. Tint on the windshield will cause chips to expand faster because of the additional heat retained in the glass. Then, when you need to replace the windshield you will be paying for tint again.
I learned that the hard way, yet I won’t hesitate to do it over, and over, and over again.
