Rocker Panel Loose in Front
Sometime in my car's past the forward edge of the rocker panel came loose. I've tried pushing it back in, hoping it would snap into place, but no luck with that approach. My next plan is to take off a wheel and then remove the fender liner in order to see up in there and try to tell what's let go.
Just thought I'd post here in case anyone's ever taken one of these off and can give a suggestion of how to figure out the problem.

Had the same problem but on the driver's side only. I tried to push it back in and it wouldn't stay. I mentioned it to my MB Dealer at one of the service appointments and they fixed it. I believe they said the panel would not snap back into place because of a build up of road debris underneath when it was loose. They just cleaned it up underneath and it snapped back into place. The cost was minimal if anything.

I have the same issue... Driver side also... Will not push in. If you have any photos of actual repair, please post.

I had the same issue on mine (2020 S560) that the dealer repaired. The clip on the front section is different from the rest of the sill and can be tough to just “push in”. I’m only guessing here but I believe my dealer replaced that clip and remounted the sill. It’s a good fix and has stayed put. If you don’t know how to release the clips you can damage the sill and spend $$$ replacing it. As you can see from “Coach K’s” workshop instructions it’s more complicated than it looks if you lack course knowledge. I was certain that if I attempted the fix I would break something as is my normal routine.

Sorry I can't be any more help ... I was at the body shop talking with a guy and mentioned this ... he said they could fix it in just a few minutes and sure enuff it's back where it should be now and looks good again.
