So question, should my 2020 S560 have lights behind the door handles? Mine doesn't.

My 2015 has them but 2 have blown. I'd like to assume your 2020 has them

It's a very common failure on w222's and quite honestly very annoying. When I bought my car, I could tell the both front driver & passenger lights had been replaced as they have a slightly different shade of white. My puddle lamp in the right mirror & rear right door handle light has since gone out... Will be following replacement tutorials online soon.

Mines brand new, none of the handles have lit up even when it was on the showroom floor.

Did they do away with this feature in the 2018 refresh?

That's quite strange... I think I've seen facelift models with door handle lights.
Just looked up a video and it appears to be on 2018 models.

I wonder if they're turned off or something...I cant believe all of them would be turned off...

Might be a setting in the updated infotainment system. My system only allows me to set the duration they stay on.

Mine are blown on one side on my c63s coupe. Might be off in your settings, also, make sure your lights are switched to auto, because if they are on the “on” switch they will not turn on when you unlock the car

Obviously I'm as well one of many who fix this issue myself both rear door and both mirror lights .

it is amazing how Lexus manage to fabricate a door light or mirror lights which have lumined over 10 years of daily use !

2020 s5604m VIN EPC shows light (240) grayed out (not equipped) yet 2020 S4504m shows equipped (same bearing bracket) doesn’t make sense. Check your VIN in EPC if you have access if not, PM VIN I’ll check.
