Rolling down window using smart key

I cant get my windows to roll down using the key fob method. When I am near the vehicle and continuously press the open button on the fob, the doors unlock and the mirrors power open,. But the windows dont move regardless of how long I press the button on the key fob. I saw a few previous posts on this but still havent been able to determine why mine isnt working. I will appreciate any additional troubleshooting advice that anyone can provide. My vehicle is a 2015 S-Class

Your going to love the solution for this one. Buy a new car........................ and well some here would tell you you need six different extended warranties.

Ok to be serious. Your battery in your remote needs changed. My Maybach and my AMG GTC (windows and convertible top) exhibit the same thing your talking about. locks and mirror will work but windows will not.

Change battery and all will work correctly.

You say when you're 'near' the vehicle. Mine only works an inch or so from the drivers side door handle......true it's not an S class, and it's a 2012 car, but works nonetheless. Try it right against the door handle.

New key fob Battery solved problem

I took Katie22's advice and changed the keyfob battery. Once i got the new battery in, this now works fine. Turned out to be a bit less expensive than buying a new car and adding a warranty...lolol. Thanks again to all that took the time to respond to this thread....:-)

Like I told you there are people here that would tell you you need several warranties and perhaps even sell the car.................................. Of course there are also people here that know what they are talking about................
