I think it has plenty of storage space. It's opened up by pressing the buttons on the side of it. Simple as that.

Not if you have the wireless charger in the armrest, since it has zero depth and can barely fit a cellphone (and nothing more). Not much use if you use the USB cable anyway.

I believe there is only a lack of storage if you have the rear AC controls since the A/C ducts and wiring run under the console. Cars without that option should still have plenty of storage space.

Fair point that I didn't consider. I do have that option and the centre console is... stingy in terms of space. I assume @vinnybenz is in a similar situation.

Yes, I do have the rear A/C controls, guess I'll have to live with it

Thanks Folks

Bill from Curious Cars would be unimpressed with that storage as it leaves less places to store handguns. But no doubt he'd comment that your Canadians would be quite chipper in the back seat. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out the Curious Cars channel on Youboob.

Glad I don't have the rear AC controls, my S550 16' is huge, but the cell phone holder is a joke (it was made for an old flip phone) and the USB jacks are worthless too.
