Mercedes S500 EQ Boost 2018 Auxiliary battery Location!! It’s Not in the bootwell
I had an issue with the stop start not working on my Mercedes s class S500 eq boost only 12k miles on the clock.
after reading many threads about this the problem is normally the Auxiliary battery.
so I go to mbepc.net put my vin details in and it shows that it has a Auxiliary battery. I tested the main battery and it was showing 12.3 volts so I purchased a Varta main battery and a Auxiliary battery.
So today I opened the bootwell I realized that the main battery was not located in the boot footwell but behind the rear seat compartment.
Where the Auxiliary battery in other videos on the s class on the right side footwell it wasn’t there. Instead there was a voltage regulator wrapped in what looked like a battery but it wasn’t.
I checked to see if it was under the bonnet and it isn’t there.
im really confused as to where the location of the Auxiliary battery is on this car 🤔
Can anyone shed some light on this pls?
Changed the main battery but couldn’t fathom where the Auxiliary battery is? I thought it was on the right side as you open the boot but it turned out to be a voltage regulator next to the fuse box.
I thought it was that middle grey box but that’s just empty storage for internal armrest.
As you can see 500 it says Aux battery for this car W222.160
