I placed Vossen wheels in 22" on my Maybach and it looked amazing and rode just fine. I ended up selling it and now have a new W223 on 21's.

22 ? Dont people get flats and blowouts all the time? For me 20 is too big.

I just got a set of 18s. My 20s with runflat tires will be available soon once get the 18s mounted

I'd love to see pictures of both cars, the Maybach and the S580. I know this is an old thread, wish I had been around when it was active. Still wold love to see some pictures of your cars.

I Had 24s on my S580. One slightly bent rim. Never any blowouts. You just have to be extra careful.

Id stick with you 20''s i mean the ride already sucks on AMG 20''s . Plus the motor mounts on the car are already know to give out, with the harsh ride mortar mounts will be cashed in no time. If you only ride 22'' for summer and do low miles maybe. Sunday driver on nice clean roads, its your ride so just got weight the pros on cons.
