Maintenance plan
My 2018 S450 is within a couple of months of 4 years old at 46k miles. Dealer has offered additional maintenance plan 50k and 60k services total $1895 or $2600 if I add 70k service. Is this a good deal? I have extended warranty already to 7 years/100k.

2 of those services are likely an A service (oil and filter) while the other is a more comprehensive B service with new spark plugs. If you go to a good indy, you can likely have all 3 of those services done for under $1500, including new plugs.

2017 GLE350 4MATIC
Engine air filter
spark plugs
transmission service
oil change x 2 or 3
cabin filter
brake fluid change
It’s a lot of work for those services, but you probably won’t pay any more if you wait until they are needed. I’d say it’s a neutral proposition. I would keep the money in my pocket and pay as you go. Or diy.

Not sure about the six-cylinder cars, but for V-8s the 50k service includes spark plugs and the 60k service includes transmission service, so these two are more expensive than the routine A and B schedules.
