I wish I could afford the OEM blades. Oh well, after paying 200k cash, I guess I’ll have to eat beans and rice, so I can service it!

$200 is a lot for wiper blades. But considering they have a heating element and the washer fluid passes through them, you are paying for safety and innovation. Not for nothing.

Thankfully we have FCP Euro to help offset the cost.

$200 is an absurd cost for wiper blades lol. BUT, they're unique...and like I said nothing was designed with cost in mind.

Um....Since we are talking about those specific wiper blades, is it just me or it is annoying that it dry scrapes the windshield first before spraying windshield fluid?

It's a good idea every once and a while to run screen wash. Sometimes it may dry out if not ever used and needs that second to get the fluid to the wand. I have no problems with the wipers. I replace them every 2 years through FCP for free. Alot of people do not know that the tiny nozzles are on both sides of the blade and the system is designed to push fluid in front of the blade during the out swipe and then reverts to the back of the blade for the return swipe.

Sometimes, but not even close to everything. When I see stuff posted that is blatantly incorrect, I'll chime in sometimes and call a spade a spade. But I do my best to offer prudent advice based on almost 40 years of car ownership.

Yes, I find that annoying for sure.

Same here.

I would classify you as one of the most argumentative people I've seen on a forum. So again I would say, hey pot its the kettle lol.

Good idea on using it more frequently to get the fluid to the wipers but I don't know if we are on the same page though, sorry if I was confusing and I am aware about those nozzles but I mean the wipers does one sequence of scraping basically covers the whole windshield then return back to resting position... only during the second swipe, is when it actually starts dispensing windshield washer fluid. Unless yours does it on the first scrape? This happens even shortly afterwards when I just used the magic vision control a few minutes ago (so not sure if it really has to do with using it frequent or not at that point). Thanks for your comment and sharing your thoughts.

I see, I thought I was the only one but like forum member Nice Ride mentioned, maybe yours wasn't used frequent enough for the fluid to get to the nozzle and not a defect that I had experienced?

No it definitely swipes before it disburses fluid, it’s not always a full swipe

Watching it today, I think my perspective is off, they do actually spray in front as they wipe...

I see, guess only me facing this issue I will need to schedule an appointment for them next time (it is a family member's vehicle) as I don't have magic vision control on my C.
