Ignition Coil
Hi Guys,
I had my check engine light come on and pulled codes P0301 and P0351, looks like io need to change cylinder 1 coil, all the local parts stores and dealerships have this part on backorder, i even tried FCP Euro and they also have it on backorder, the only place i could find them was on eBay from China which i don't want to purchase from.
Does anyone on here know of any places i can order from online that has in stock

How did you conclude the coil needs to be changed? Read about misfires with the M278 engine. There can be other reasons for misfire: oil in engine harness and cylinder scoring to name two. Have you done other diagnostic tests including inspecting cam position harness connectors, compression and using a borescope on cylinder #1?
There is a long list of part number successions (replacements) on ignition coils, not surprisingly for MB. MB revises part number, often because of realizing they have a problem and are attempting a fix.
Have a look through mbepc.net and see if you can find a valid part number for your engine, then search for a vendor with it in stock. But do the diagnostic work first (inspect for oil on electrical connectors, compression, borescope).

2016 S550, e39 M5
National Backorder prevented me from getting the original OEM coil for a 2016 S550. After some searching, I got a match from Parts Express. I replaced the coil, it cleared both coil faults, turned off the check engine light, and now the engine is purring like a Kitten again. A Siberian Tiger Kitten, but you get the point. Part number:

Congrats on your successful solution. With diagnostic labor in the hundreds per hour a little part-changing is a reasonable first thing to try ... btw, Rock Auto purports to have these for $42 ea ...
