Spacers less than 10mm

Is anyone running spacers in the rear that are less than 10mm? Are they hub-centric and can you tell me what the brand is?

I cannot find any for sale that is less than 10mm and says it's a confirmed fit on a W222 (outside of cheap stuff on Amazon). It makes me wonder if there is a reason smaller ones don't work on these cars.

10mm is as thin as spacers can be and "replicate" the <wheel> centering hub. Any thinner and you have lost the centration of the wheel to the hub.
On the other hand, a 5mm spacer could use the original centering hub. But 5mm = 0.20" is hardly even visible.

I just need the space from the spacers rather than appearance. I bought a set of wheels that have <10mm of clearance from the inner fender (details in this thread). I think 5mm will buy me enough space but just wasn't sure if the centering hub had enough space.

I ended up finding a photo of a rear hub. It looks like there is space for a 5mm spacer but not much more. I'm guessing the centering hub is 13.5mm gauging by the adjacent lug threads. ~9 threads @ 1.5mm pitch = 13.5.

The centering hub does have an outward curve at the base that I hope won't keep the spacer from resting flush against the hub. I suppose I just need to pull the trigger and try it.
