The ILS Systems is still not allowed on US-bound cars? They system is amazing and really helps all drivers the ones using it and the other cars around the ones using it!!

As one who has ILS+ activated, it is another level of usefulness. Better visibility at the roadside (kids, wildlife?), and I’ve never been flashed once by an oncoming driver.

It’s legalized but there are still some regulatory hurdles that keep it turned off

Since this seems to be the ILS+ thread, I figured I'd ask my question here. I have a 2023 GLC in the US that I had coded for ILS+ and it's been working amazingly well. I recently went to the dealer for my normal service and noticed it's no longer in the menu to select but after driving at night I still have the multibeams working as before. Has anyone experienced this before or have any insight into this? Did I lose any functionality or is this residual software in the cameras/lights that MBUX itself doesn't show?

Thumbs up for Benz Ninja!
Not ILS-related, but just wanted to give a shout out to BenzNinja for outstanding service. Bought hardware based on his recommendation and had him configure it for Xentry/Das - have been using it for years and anytime I screw something up he fixes it remotely - top-notch service! This guy’s the real deal in a world of mostly low-quality product and minimal support. 10/10 would recommend. And no, I didn’t get anything for this review, I’m just a very happy customer. Cheers.

HOWEVER, the coding BenzNinja did in the headlamp control unit itself did NOT get wiped out, so the actual headlights are still perfectly functional with ILS+, as desired.
So, the only real rub is that I can no longer deselect the ILS+ functionality, though I can't imagine every wanting to do so, since it's FREAKING AWESOME!

Same thing happened to me... BenzNinja coded my 2020 GLS for ILS+. Then about 6 months later, there was an over-the-air MBUX update that wiped out all the custom coding he did in the headunit.
HOWEVER, the coding BenzNinja did in the headlamp control unit itself did NOT get wiped out, so the actual headlights are still perfectly functional with ILS+, as desired.

No impact on the functionality. as you mentioned, it's just the ON/OFF switch.
All options you code with us, once bought, have lifetime free recoding.
So don't hesitate, we will be happy to put the switch back
