Anyone willing to get the full kit and ship between members? I’d pay to have updates like ILS+, ECO off, remember Dynamic Mode etc. But the hassle of ordering equipment and configuring it for a one time use is too much.

My cost of the unit is 450.00 plus 50.00 for a SSD for the laptop I have laying around.
I am thinking 50.00 a throw plus shipping from and back to me or to another member. I will be the bank and if it ever pays for itself.. Free after that?!

All Cars Lost To Hurricane Isaac (W124 E420 revived - added 88 Allante 14 S550, 17 S63
I was driving next to a highway where the road curves left and passes under the highway.. there is a high concrete structure to support the highway overpass (on my left)….
as I started my left curve heading under the highway, the high beam light activated and a beam was clearly on the concrete structure to my left. the beam moved across the wall separate from my car movement. It moved across and over to the curved road in front of me. The curve road under the dark underpass lit up like day
although this will be standard one day, its truly amazing to witness.
it was a WOW out loud moment
my brain had to wrap around this independent beam movement… especially of note was that it was one beam and not dual left-right movement in unison … independent logic and action….. it’s pretty cool

That is a great idea! I own a brick and mortar computer store so I will put together a laptop (with Peters permission of course) with the bulk of his SW.
Should make the job much easier and eliminate some of the unknowns for him.
Again, great idea!
The rental part is easy and risk free for me. I will charge the cost of the unit and when I get it back, refund less 50.00.
If it goes direct to the next person, they save the shipping costs back to me.
I will be the bank if no one else wants/needs it.

Okay, here is the deal.
My cost on the unit is 450.00 plus 30.00 for a padded laptop backpack and 200.00 for an older i7 Dell workstation laptop with a new Samsung 250GB SSD.
So, 680.00 plus the cost of UPS insured shipping to the first person. When I get it back, I will refund 620.00.
Keen eyes will notice I raised the price of the laptop 150.00 to cover my true cost of the machine.. Also raised the usage cost of the system 10.00 to cover Paypal fees.
Paypal verified only I think? I want to keep my risk as close to zero as possible.
So, 60.00 (680.00 less 620.00) for the use of the system plus UPS insured ground service back and forth to me.
These are the people that expressed interest in order.

So Peter updated/modded my 2016 S63 yesterday with great sucess. I just had him do the headlight mod.
The laptop is setup with his software as well as MB STAR.
Basically you plug the C4 into your OBD2 port, the C4 into the laptop via ethernet cable, plug in the laptop power and log onto your wireless internet.
Peter has the laptop setup to automatically start his remote access and he does the rest.
You have to turn the ignition on and be available once in a while but that's it.
Conversely, you could pay a local independent shop to do this part.. I can't imagine a shop charging more than 200.00 but YMMV!
I am not affiliated with Peter and have received nothing in exchange for setting this up. I am so happy to have adaptive headlights...

I had this done on my 2018 and very happy with results. It does get some getting use to but understand that on a two lane road with oncoming traffic you will see more light reaching to the right and left which makes driving more relaxed. It's odd to be following a car but yet you have your brights active.

Took BenzeNinja less that 30 mins to update ILS+ today. Also did auto stop/start. Could not do Dynamic mode setting for my model. Will test once dark and let you guys know. He’s very easy to work with over WhatsApp.
