O2 sensor removal driver's side
Hello, would anyone have any tips on removing the downstream driver's side O2 sensor. I see I have to remove the lower cover and I have the right wrench to remove the sensor. The problem comes with the connector, it sits high up next to the transmission housing. Also there isn't a lot of room to put you hand between the exhaust pipe and the frame to get to the connector. Is dropping the exhaust on the drivers side the only way to get to the connector? Just looking for suggestions, thanks!

This has been posted a few times on M278 O2 sensor removal. On the X166 platform I think the common procedure is to remove the exhaust as you noted. Try the search feature to see if E-class W213 E550 posters have a different solution.
