Upgraded steering wheel
I custom ordered a fabulous steering wheel and airbag for my S63 from CKM Car Design in Sweden. It took about 6 weeks before it arrived. I absolutely love it. Specced it the way I wanted. Couldn't be happier. Chris was really great to deal with from CKM. Here are before and after pics.
I think one of the best upgrades you can do to a car is changing the steering wheel. The pre facelift steering wheel on the 222 is one of the worst wheels MB has made IMO, especially in an AMG car. The facelifted AMG wheel however is one of the best. This looks amazing! Love the interior spec on this car as well. Well done. I did a retrofit on my 221 with the same style steering wheel and it made a massive difference. Money well spent.
Very nice and money well spent. It's a shame the trim of the whole car doesn't have that carbon fiber appearance everywhere else. I say that because my 2019 S560 has the same interior color and trim as yours.

Yup, I wish the dash had CF as well. Although I do have the CF accents on the outside of the car including the mirrors, rocker panel strip, etc. At least the piano black trim on the dash does go OK with the CF wheel....

Everything works except the cruise control stuff. That was never on the old steering wheel and it must be controlled by the lever on the steering column as before. You can scroll through everything with the little touch button on both sides of the new wheel. I highly recommend this upgrade. It looks and feels sooooo much better and works great.
Chris I'd like to get in touch with you regarding upgrading the steering wheel in my 2010 E63, interior color is grey but I'm wondering if a black wheel might look better.
