I sent my w222 to the dealer for repair recently and when I got it back I noticed that the foam bumper is highly visible from the bottom row of the grills, as circled in blue in the image below.
I can actually see the foam bumper from a distance away and it just does not seem right to me. Shouldn't such foam bumper be nicely hidden behind the actual bumper, away from plain view?
That can't be right. Somebody did something totally wrong at the dealership. What was the car taken in for?
It was taken in for active brake assist issue. I am thinking the mechanic may have removed the front bumper to look at the sensors there and failed to put everything back properly...
